Can you repair a ship engine?
I had the pleasure of sitting with Russell Brunson years ago on a project. After we explained the idea he told us he had a super power.
Anytime his brain heard an idea he instantly knew how to create a funnel for it.
Within 15 minutes he laid out exactly what needed to be done, and the rest was just execution.
He did this process for a brand called Organifi that moved it from a boring info only brand into the product brand it is today.
Maybe you know this story:
A ship's giant engine broke down. After many experts failed to fix it, an old mechanic was called. He inspected the engine, tapped it lightly with a hammer, and it started working.
He sent an invoice for $10,000. When questioned, he itemized it:
Tapping: $2 Knowing where to tap: $9,998
Know where to tap
I work with dozens of businesses now and sit on calls with owners and founders who ask me where to tap things.
After starting multiple businesses and studying greats like Russell Brunson I’ve developed the same super power of analyzing a company and knowing what funnel, offer and marketing needs to be done.
The "knowing where to tap" skill goes beyond technical knowledge. It's about:
Sharp pattern recognition
Intuitive understanding of business ecosystems
Quickly identifying critical leverage points
This ability comes from:
Years of experience
Countless trials and errors
Relentless curiosity
But insight alone isn't enough. Execution is key:
Communicate the vision
Rally the team
Persistently work through challenges
The real superpower? Combining strategic insight with tactical prowess.
